Default VSTO 2003 and 2007 Add-ins

Since we had trouble installing my Excell VSTO add-inn under Office 2003, I
thought might be since I probably developped for Office 2007.
However an attempt to create A 2003 add-in (Visual Studio 2005) resulted in
missing references "Excel" and "Microsoft.Office.Core".
New 2007 add-in project worked fine.
As I understand it it is impossible to run Office 2007 along side Office 2003.
The VS-2005 option to build for both version thus seems impossible???

Tried to add references to the Office 2007 versions but this fails (with the
usual obscure error note which doesn't explain the reason, something like
"version conflict" would suffice (which I reckon to be the problem))

Since Office 2003 I haven't installed any more (for the above mentioned
reason) I probably wouldn't be able to test the 2003 project directly. But
why it is impossible to devellop one is beyond me.

(Anyone!?, note reply might be delayed due to short holliday)
