Default Grouping Date Data in a Pivot Table

I've created a pivot table that counts daily events and I would like to show
that data monthly or weekly by grouping the Date field in my pivot table.

Is this possible?

Thanks!

Raymond

Default Grouping Date Data in a Pivot Table

I've found it helpful to format dates in YYYYMMDD when using dates in
a pivot table.

Right click on the date field - Group. You will have many date grouping
options.
