Default DAGNABIT!!! Where'd my form go?

I built a userform with about 20 components, built all the code around it. I
then saved the sheet and went to lunch. Upon my return, I pulled up the sheet
and loaded up VB to test it. I got a "File not found" when trying to load the
form! I clicked on the form in my object explorer - "File not found".

What gives? Is there any chance the thing is still hiding out there
somewhere in bit-land?

Oh - and if it can't be recovered, how do I delete/rename the old form so I
don't have to re-code everything?

Sorry, I found it.

I'm not sure exactly what happened, but I closed and re-opened the workbook
and it was there. You may delete this thread and mark me as a doofus. :S

This happened to me just today.

I had TWO Excel files loaded, and there were smoe very similar modules and
forms in the two of them. I drastically revised one of them; the other one
had some code in it I wanted to borrow.

No, I did not revise the wrong one. Rather, later I went back and looked
for the new form in the Project Explorer -- but I looked in the wrong one of
the similar-looking files.

Just as you did, I closed Excel, and then re-loaded the file. (But this
time without the "other" file also.)

And there it was! Like nothing had happened. Because nothing did happen.

It's the little things...
