Default skipping cells

Hi

One way
Assuming dates are in column A and value you want to average is in
column B
=SUMPRODUCT(--(DAY($A$2:$A$100=5),$B$2:$B$100)/SUMPRODUCT(--(DAY($A$2:$A$100=5))
