Spell checking without the POP up ...
I want to have a macro that runs activecell.checkspelling, but NOT
show the popup. in psuedo code, what I need is: while active cell < "" notaword = activecell.checkspelling if notaword = false then activerow.clearcontents end if activecell.offset wend in short, what I am looking for is a way to test the text contents and figure out if it can be a word. If it is, then clear the row, and if not, then just move on. thanks. |

Spell checking without the POP up ...
Larry,
There is a CheckingSpelling method for various Excel object. The arguments and return value/behaviour depending on which is used. Check the help. Sound like Application.CheckSpelling may suffice for you. NickHK "LarryLev" wrote in message oups.com...
