On my worksheet, I wanting a user to be forced to complete another cell when
a series of cells has been edited. I.e. User enters data into Cell A (due date) and Cell B (project), Cell D requires the user to complete new due date, but leaving the original date as is in Cell A. -- Bae |

Something like:
Private Sub Worksheet_SelectionChange(ByVal Target As Range) ' Force User to INPUT Data into C1, when there is Data in A1 and B1 If Range("A1").Value < "" And Range("B1").Value < "" And Range("C1").Value = "" Then Range("C1").Activate Else Exit Sub End If End Sub It will not allow the user to select any other cell UNTIL a value is placed into C1, but ONLY when A1 and B2 have values in them. I must be missing something because I have tried numberous times to put this
code in and it is not working. However, I am pretty ignorant when it comes to writing code. So, can you just tell me how to do it from the very beginning? Just assume I know nothing about excel, except to put some data in cells. Thanks! -- Bae "Corey" wrote: Something like: Private Sub Worksheet_SelectionChange(ByVal Target As Range) ' Force User to INPUT Data into C1, when there is Data in A1 and B1 If Range("A1").Value < "" And Range("B1").Value < "" And Range("C1").Value = "" Then Range("C1").Activate Else Exit Sub End If End Sub It will not allow the user to select any other cell UNTIL a value is placed into C1, but ONLY when A1 and B2 have values in them.
