Default columns read 1,2,3 rather than A,B,C

Column headings are numbered rather than A B C. If I open a new worksheet, it
is also numbered. I probably had too many files open and Excel froze - I
couldn't close the files and had to shut down.

Hi,

Go to Tools-Options, in the General tab, make sure "R1C1 reference style"
is NOT checked...

Hope that helps.
