(free registration). Im not very well versed on this topic but all the forums
I've looked at indicate that the variables are being loaded into javascript
and then processed to produce a result. Can anyone provide a little more
guidance on this subject as my knowledge of xml is non existant.

Your post does not contain enough information. What does "load variables" mean ?
And you're posting in a VBA group asking about javascript and then XML...

Sorry about that. I should have mentioned that I am trying to do this thought
an excel web query. Regarding the variables, the site allows one to select a
search type (e.g. company name) and then input the search criteria (e.g. ABC
Inc.). Ideally, my web query will allow the user to select the search type,
enter the criteria, perform a web query and evaluate the results. Any help
would be appreciated.
