how do i show extra information in data area of pivot table
 

hi,

have a pivot table up and running fine. just one question.....in the
data area i have four fields....

opn bal, debit, credit

the operation is sum on all the fields......

the only question is in opn bal...if there is a value 100, i want to
have some field next to it that says "dr" or "cr".......so something
like 100 DR or 100 CR.....

i cannot use calculated fields because it's a text field and i cannot
perform some mathematical function on it.....

please let me know if there is some way around it.....

You can copy pivot result somewhere else and do what ever you want.
