Default Connection between MSSQL from/to Excel

Does anybody have a working example of connection to MSSQL via vba
(macros)?

Id like to be able to SELECT and UPDATE/INSERT to/from a MSSQL
database, locally on the computer.

Ill be very grateful for links, or any reply's.

Thanks!
