IF Conditional Formatting
Nevermind, thanks for the help...I thought you could only CF 3 times but it
seems that I can click on cell by cell then just format down "failedfx" wrote: Thanks for the quick reply, that works but I have a problem...you can only use what..3 conditional formats? These 4 cells are 1 year, then 4 cells to the right of it are the next year and so on, (totalling from 2004 to 2010), so I cant do conditional formatting that many times. Also my first post was bad, I would like bad=red and marginal=yellow, good and excellent can stay white. A B C D 1 Date Score Name Date 2 1-Jan-06 bad Bob 1-Jul-07 3 1-Jan-06 marginal John 1-Jul-07 4 1-Jan-06 good Joe 1-Jan-07 5 1-Jan-06 excellent w00t 1-Jan-07 Thats the basic layout, I have forumlas in column D that basically if B=bad or marginal take A+180(days) and if B=good or excellent then take A+365. Now my problem is for easy read I want to shade the cells, I have tried conditional formatting but can only highlight 1 cell at a time, I want IF B2=bad shade A2,B2,C2,D2 Is this possible? I cant figure it out at all, thanks for any help I may get. |
