Default Strange

Hi All,

I have come across a very strange thing... described below. May be
some any of the excel expert here can help to explain...

when I use the PC 1 to record the macro by formatting Column A into
number, it gives me:

Columns("A:A").Select
Selection.NumberFormat = 0

and what I use PC 2 to record the same action macro, it gives me:

Columns("A:A").Select
Selection.NumberFormatLocal = "0_);(0)"

as the recorded code.

Can this be explained.

Any help is appreciated.
