Alternative to custom views?
HI There, Im not sure if anyone out there can remember, a previous version of Excel there was a way of collapsing and expanding sheets within a workbook...A little plus on the sheet that if you clicked you would see several sheets, like a workbook within a workbook.. does that functionality exists in later versions....? I have many sheets and want some of them to be "collapsable" - I tried creating a custom view, but takes very long to change between views. Darin,
Do you mean DataGroup & Outline ? It only works on a single sheet, not quite as you describe. Not sure why changing views would take a long time; a lot of graphics maybe ?
