Default grouping large pivot table columns

This is basic, but I just cannot find how to automatically group a
large range of numbers without manually blocking each range and
grouping, one at a time. For instance, I might have 5,000 numbers
ranging from -10.43 to 150.05. I may need to group the range of
numbers by integer, but that means 162 groups I have to create. There
has to be a way for this to be automatic. I fould instructions to find
the "options" tag and enter my first number, my last number, then enter
how I want it segmented, but I cannot find this in the Pivot Table
toolbar, or anywhere else. I am using excel 2003. I fear that it is
obvious, but I'm not getting anywhere. Thanks for your help. JP
