I use the method ActiveWorkbook.SendMail
Until now it had works fine with only Excel open (had just answered yes to
the warning message which appears). It had been with Windows 2000 and
Excel XP

After upgrading to Windows XP and Excel 2003 (yes downgrading!) the mail
is
not send before Outlook is open, and it is not always the users has
Outlook
open, and therefore will the mail not be send any longer.

I like the method to send without open Outlook as it has been done before
the upgrading - can anybody give an explanation of how the difference and
what to do ?

Regards
Kent.
