Default Set up Reminders in Excel

Is there a way that I can set up reminders to pop up for repairs to vehicles
for our fleet, either on one or more spreadsheets? FYI - the version I have
is 2002. I have very little programming experience so any help would be
appreciated.

Does it have to be a pop up? If a coloured cell will do then read on.
Suppose cells A2:D2 have info on vehicle (number, type, whatever)
Let E2 have date of last service
Select E2 down to the end of column; use Format | Conditional Formatting and
specify:
Formula Is =NOW()-E230 and use a bright colour font or cell colour
in the Format dialog
Now all dates older than 30 days are highlighted
An additional feature is these will show on a colour printout
best wishes
