Default VBA error - increased file size

Thank you. The file was instantly reduced in size and back to the normal
size. Was somewhat hoping it would be even smaller :)

Did a test run of a VBA project in a Excel file. An error was found, a
module
deleted ande then the file was saved. The result was an increase of the
file
size by about 200 kB. (from 800 kB to 1000 kB, an increase by 25 %)

So now I'm wondering how to remove these 200 kB and if there are more
cached
data in the saved file and if it is possible to reduce the file size by
clearing this cache.

Using Excel 2002, have control of Used range and a lot of VBA code.

Yours
/T
