I have a macro I'm working on which runs from one sheet but does the
data manipulation in another sheet. I've made a "test" sheet to replicate the sheet in which the data resides. I use a "resume.xlw" workspace to open both when I work on them. I also keep an XL spreadsheet listing all my current projects and a link to each of them. When I double-click on the "resume.xlw" file, it works fine. But if I click on the link in my status sheet to that file, it only opens one of the files it's supposed to open, the test data ..xls file. It never opens the macro .xls file. Does anyone know if this is normal? Is there a fix? Thanks in advance. |

Couldn't duplicate your issue.
I created Book1.xls and Book2.xls. Saved them individually. Saved them to Resume.xlw Closed both worksheets. Created a new workbook with a hyperlink to Resume.xlw Clicked on the hyperlink and both opened. -- Gary Brown "davegb" wrote: I have a macro I'm working on which runs from one sheet but does the data manipulation in another sheet.
