Default autoupdate ppt embedded in excel file to which it is also linked

I have a ppt that is embedded within an excel sheet, and the ppt contains
graphs linked to graphs in the same excel file in which it is embedded. I am
searching for a way to make the ppt automatically update the linked graphs
when changes are made to the excel file.

Currently, if I simply show the ppt it does not reflect any changes made to
the excel file. If I right click the ppt in excel and choose "Edit" or "open"
I am prompted to either update links or not. Is there a way to make the ppt
automatically update when it is shown without having to right click and
select "edit" etc?

Even if I could create a command button to update the ppt, that would be
preferable to the current setup.

Any help would be appreciated!!!
