Default XMLSS export format for import to Indesign 2

I don't have the "export" command in a PC Excel 2003 version. DOes that mean
I have to buy Excel 2003 Professional? I still need to know what is the
difference between the saveAs XML command and the export as XML command and
if any one know if it matters to Indesign which one I use.
Thanks,
