Default Newbie: how to show the checked symbol in a label control

The ASCII-table does not contain the checked symbol (V) that the CheckBox
control contains.

How do I make a checked symbol (V) visible on a form, say in a lable (or
maybe a picture) control?

Regards

Frank,
Well, I guess there some reason you can't use a check box.
The Martlett font has a tick mark, type a letter "a".
Wingdings fonts ; "x", Chr(253), Chr(254)
Probably others also.
