When using cells, it refers to the row and column in the following way:
cells(row_number, column_number) So if you update your code to: Range(Cells(1, 2), Cells(2, 5)).Select then this will select the cells B1:E2 cells(1,2) = B1 and cells(2,5) = E2 Hope this helps.
