Default What have I done?

I have a workbook which I have been using to test macros before incorporating
them into a larger program. I have used it to call shapes using mso
constants such as msoShape32pointStar. Then I could experiment with fill
colors, etc. Suddenly, the Shapes are not visible and I cannot figure out
what I did to make them invisible or how to make them visible again. I think
I am getting feeble minded. Does anyone have a suggestion of how to fix
this. It only applies to the one workbook.

Even more mystifying is the fact that Word Art and OLE Objects seem to work
just fine. It is only the mso constants that are not visible. They are
there, but not visible. I'm stumped!
