I currently have a worksheet that has locked & un-locked cells. At present
anyone can edit the un-locked cells. What I am wanting to do is allow certain people to only edit certain un-locked cells. I have tried to do this by using toolsprotectionallow users to edit rangers, but it doesn't seem to work. Can anyone help. Cheers |

That feature is only available in versions 2003 (?) and later. If the WB is
opened on an older system, the setting will be ignored. But assuming the user has a compatible version, what does "it doesn't seem to work." mean ? Not applied, errors, something else ? Do you have to Protect the worksheet for these setting to come into effect ? NickHK "TheRook" ... I currently have a worksheet that has locked & un-locked cells. "It doesn't seem to work" means:
I have set the rangers that need a password when for editing and I have set permission for the rangers so certain people can edit without a password. I have then protected the works sheet, but it still allows anyone to edit? Thanks "NickHK" wrote: That feature is only available in versions 2003 (?) and later.
