Default Replied to post which disappeared?

I replied to a post about creating a new worksheet when the name
conflicted with the name of an existing worksheet. When I clicked the
post message button, I got a "page could not be found" message, and
when I returned to the newsgroup, the original post had disappeared.
Does this mean that the original author had somehow removed his post,
or has the newsgroup gotten overloaded/neurotic?

Can't help you with the mystery post, however you can have
fewer problems and quicker response time by accessing the
Microsoft newsgroups directly, using Outlook Express or another
email program, instead of going thru a third party web interface.
