Can a workbook level event be triggered by the act of selecting an
Excel workbook file (2000 or greater) as an attachment to an outbound e-mail? For instance, I create an e-mail (using Outlook Express 6.0) on August 18, 2006. Then, at 11:00 AM, I select an Excel file as an attachement to be sent with that e-mail. Does the process of selecting the Excel file trigger any workbook level event that can be used to insert date/time (format: 8/18/06 11:00) in range("A1") of Sheet1(zzz) in the Excel file attached and being sent? If yes, any code suggestions will be sincerely appreciated. TIA for any ideas/comments. Mike |
