i have an addin which is always running a macro every 10 seconds for
status. this addin also allows the user to do configuration with modal
userforms.

on my computer everything runs fine (the macro runs in the background
behind the form), but when i put it on someone else's computer,
whenever the ontime macro executes, it brings up the VBE breaking on
the frm.Show vbModal line. why does it not execute behind the
form? has anyone ever had this problem? it is very annoying because
it always interrupts whatever the user is doing in the userform.

i can't just persist the info of what is scheduled to run and turn it
off before showing the userform because i have 50+ forms across a dozen
addins which are also broken by this problem.

we are both using Windows XP SP2 with Excel XP SP3 with the same
version of my addin.
