Default Check for existing data

Hi,

I have 2 worksheets with a lot of data in column B. The secon
worksheet is a copy of the first worksheet and is necessary to see th
difference between the 2 worksheets. On the second worksheet an othe
user can add rows and insert new data in column B.
Afterwards a résumé should be made on a new worksheet. Therefore colum
B from the first worksheet is being copied to this new worksheet.
Now the tricky part.
A check should be made if the data in column B from the secon
worksheet also exists on the new résumé worksheet. If not, then i
should be copied to the new résumé worksheet at the same place as it i
on the second worksheet.
I only don't know how to do this. Can someone help me? Thanks i
advance

Hi leonidas,

Your best oiption is to use a VLOOKUP, this way you can see what's on and
what isn't on your 2nd workbook. Have a look at the help for VLOOKUP, this
will get you started.

Hi Kevin,

The search function has to be performed with a macro. I don't know if
it is possible to use VLookUp in a macro. Else do you know another
solution for using a macro? Thanks in advance!
