Please let Excel sort by string value within the cell/column.
I need to search down a column for like phrases within the cells. MS Excel
version 2003 (11.8033.8028), SP2. ---------------- This post is a suggestion for Microsoft, and Microsoft responds to the suggestions with the most votes. Please let Excel sort by string value within the cell/column.
Already supported with existing capabilities.

Please let Excel sort by string value within the cell/column.
If the strings aren't too long, you could apply data|Filter|autofilter to that
