Default compressing folders

is it possible to use vb to compress a folder and move it to another
location? does anyone have the code?
or is it easier to just move the files to a compressed folder?

Chris,

Yes, you can use VBA to zip files. The basic info you can find at
http://www.rondebruin.nl/zip.htm.

Ron DeBruin worked out all the hard stuff. It works really well.

Mike
