Default Using a Sheet Name

Hello,

I am using the following code to name a new sheet:

Dim sheetName
sheetName = ActiveCell.Value

Sheets("Sheet1").Select
Sheets("Sheet1").Name = sheetName

My macro gets a value from the 'Main' worksheet. It opens a new sheet and
pastes that value into the new sheet. It then uses the code above to name
the sheet.

When I go back to the 'Main' worksheet I want to get another value and then
go back to the worksheet I just created using sheetName (because that is the
name of my new worksheet).

I am doing this because I want to take all same values and put them on one
sheet. That value becomes the sheet name. When the value changes I will
create a new worksheet and that value becomes the new worksheet name
(sheetName).

I tried using something like:
Sheets(sheetName).Select
sheetName still has the value of the worksheet name. But it doesnt like the
sheetName.

Any help would be great.

Thanks

Seems like that should work without a problem. If your code isn't too
long, maybe you could post more of it here, along with some example
sheetNames you are using.
