Default Importing on certain rows from a text file into excel

Hi,
I wonder if anyone has any idea about how to import data into Excel
2003 from a text file but with only certain parts being imported. The
file is about 10k lines long so no problem with any row limitations and
each record looks like this following:

18/06/2006 03:15:03
QU XXXXXXX
..AMSMSGS
MVT
KS026/17.GCIVV.GGW
EA0344
SI GENERATED BY GPS FROM RODS EAT. MSG ID: 67907948 STOPS: LAM A/C
TYPE: B744 EET: 0332 RAY: 27R
SI FSP MSG ID: 67907949

I need the whole of the first line
Ignore lines 2 to 4
Only the portion of line 5 up to the first dot
Only the numbers after the EA on line 6
Lines 7 & 8 are actually all on one line and what is required are the 3
letter code (LAM in this instance) after STOPS:, the four digit code
after TYPE: (B744 in this instance), the 4 digit number after EAT: and
the 3 digit code after RAY:

We have no idea here how to go about this and thought perhaps somebody
here may be willing to help
Many thanks in advance
ArtySin
