If you store the number in a cell, say A1, you can use the
BeforePrint event procedure to increment the number each time the
workbook is printed. E.g., put the following code in the
ThisWorkbook code module.

Private Sub Workbook_BeforePrint(Cancel As Boolean)
Range("A1").Value = Range("A1").Value + 1
End Sub
