is there a way to make dates simply be read as text?
hi experts.... is there a way to make dates simply be read as text? meaning as labels in charts?...not to be read as or converted into serial number? -- tweety127 ------------------------------------------------------------------------ tweety127's Profile: http://www.excelforum.com/member.php...o&userid=34673 View this thread: http://www.excelforum.com/showthread...hreadid=549111 |

The Excel function "TEXT" might work for you (which I believe can be
used in VBA). In the following form TEXT(NOW(),"mm-dd-yyyy"), you will get a date of 06-06-2006 in text format. Let's hope the devil doesn't notice this ;- tweety127 wrote: hi experts.... is there a way to make dates simply be read as text? meaning as labels in charts?...not to be read as or converted into serial number? -- tweety127 ------------------------------------------------------------------------ tweety127's Profile: http://www.excelforum.com/member.php...o&userid=34673 View this thread: http://www.excelforum.com/showthread...hreadid=549111 |
