is there a way to make dates simply be read as text?
 

hi experts....
is there a way to make dates simply be read as text? meaning as labels
in charts?...not to be read as or converted into serial number?

The Excel function "TEXT" might work for you (which I believe can be
used in VBA). In the following form TEXT(NOW(),"mm-dd-yyyy"), you will
get a date of 06-06-2006 in text format. Let's hope the devil doesn't
notice this ;-
