Default formatting decimal places for complex numbers

I would like to control the format of a complex (real/imaginary) number such
that it is displayed with a certain amount of decimal places without using
the E explonential component. i.e. -

changing -0.1875+4.6875E-002j
to just -0.188+0.047j
