Default Forms window comes back like Freddy Kruger

I'm working on a macro tied to a userform. Everytime I test run the
current version of the macro, with a stop to check watched values, when
I click to go out of run mode, VBE returns me to the userform window,
even though I'm editing code and haven't used the userform window in a
while. Is there a way to get it to remain in the code edit window
rather than constantly reverting to the userform edit window?
Thanks!
