Pivot table input selection criteria
I've searched high and low and cannot find the answer to this ver simple question. I have a pivot table where one of the page fields is a date.:confused I want to allow the user to enter a from AND to date and then displa my pivot table for that date range entered. I know they can selectively do this through the drop down clickin specific dates, but I want specifically from and to range. i.e. Wher they enter in a date range. I want other page fields to be selected as from and to also. I wan this selection to be outside of the pivot table iteself. Does anyone have code for this. I have attached my sample spreadshee that shows what I am trying to do +------------------------------------------------------------------- |Filename: pivotexample.zip |Download: http://www.excelforum.com/attachment.php?postid=4648 +------------------------------------------------------------------- -- colmansprin ----------------------------------------------------------------------- colmansprint's Profile: http://www.excelforum.com/member.php...fo&userid=3358 View this thread: http://www.excelforum.com/showthread.php?threadid=53361 |

Attaching a spreadsheet rarely helps because most people will not open them
(viruses issues). When you post questions about pivot tables you need to be specific in terms of what version of Excel you are working in. The pivot table engine changed in 2002 and code for one version will not necessarilly work on the other. All of that being said I don't have exactly what you are looking for but check out this link.
