Default smoothly linking two presentations

I know this isn't an Excel related question, but it's a Powerpoint one
and I thought that you guys might be able to help because you know
about Excel programming. My question relates to possible programming
for Powerpoint.

I'm giving a lecture in a few weeks, and I have to different Powerpoint
presentations I want to give, and I want to be able to go right from the
last slide of the first presentation to the first slide of the second
presentation.

Due to formatting issues, I can't combine the two presentations into
one. Is it possible to somehow write a macro that, once I click on an
action button on the last slide of the first presentation, it launches
the second presentation in Slide Show mode? By using Powerpoint's
simple Action Buttons, I can make it so that when the Action Button is
pressed, it launches the second presentation, but there are two
problems. First, the second presentation does not launch in Slide Show
mode. Second, a message will pop up asking me if I really want to open
the file in case it has a virus.

Thanks for the help,

Jason
