Default building a search tool

Is there any way of building a search table on excel, so I can search
large spreadsheet e.g. the search table is in sheet1 and the dat
spreadsheet is in sheet2. Both sheets are linked. With in the searc
table on sheet1 I want to have several search fields (Filters) thes
will consist of a dropdown lists or boxes were I can freely type i
information i.e. a customer name in cells this is then linked to th
data spreadsheet on sheet2 and filters sheet 2 to bring up the custome
record.
