Default Addin - 1. Links & 2. Install/Uninstall Error Message

All -

I have created my 1st Excel Add-in.
I created it by saving my workbook as an .xla.
It seems to be working well.

I do have questions.

My UDFs create links in the ActiveWorkbook to the Add-in Workbook.

However, when I utilize UDFs from other Add-ins (like the Analysis ToolPak),
the use of these functions does not create a link. If I remove the Analysis
ToolPak
from my Addin's list, the Analysis ToolPak UDF formula used in the
ActiveWorkbook
just displays "#VALUE!".

Question #1: Why does my add-in create links while other add-ins do not?
I would like to distribute my Add-in to others, so I
would rather not
have to deal with re-directing their links.

Do I need to save my Add-in in a different manner?

Question #2: When I click or unclick my Add-in from the Tools | Add-ins
Panel,
I always receive the following error message:
"Cannot find add-in 'C:\Programs Files\Microsoft Office\
OFFICE11\LIBRARY\MyAddin.xla'. Delete from list?
I have verified the .xla is in fact in that directory.
(I have also saved the .xla in the "Current User Addin
Path" and
receive the same error message (a different path of
course)).

Can someone give me some ideas what is happening/
what I need to do differently? thx.

Thanks for your assistance.
