Default drop down list in excel

has anyone linked pricing in drop down list.
so a user can pick the product from a list and the pricing would display and
link in a separate cell?
i am trying to build a bid program for my company in excel

You need a lookup table of products and prices, and use VLOOKUP the selected
value into that table.
