Not sure this is the right ng, but it is for Excel, and there might be some
programming :) For a while now, one of our clients has been happily using Excel with various templates that we've provided, and upgraded from Excel 97 to Excel 2000. However, recently they've reported the following; Excel as f/g app, from launch. User clicks print on toolbar and w/s prints as expected with no UI or other intervention to default printer. User switches to different application (e.g. Word). User switches back to Excel, makes modification to values in sheet, and clicks print on toolbar. This time there is the 'Print...' dialog, which is somewhat unexpected. They haven't changed anything (we checked) and nor have we, and this happens whether they're using one of our templates or just a 'standard' workbook. Two questions; (a) Anyone else seen this behaviour? (b) Presumably, if we modified the toolbar setting, we could put some code behind a button to do a print to default print with no UI. -- Steve S |
