Default RTD data source

I have read several article on setting up an RTD server in both VB6 and .net.
The .net example uses Notepad to edit an xml file. This is fine, but in my
case not very helpful. (I'm referring to the WideWorld sample). The
problem is that my data source will be created by Automation (ActiveX), and
not manually edited.

I'd like to see a code sample where the data source is a dbaseIV file. I
would prefer to build my server in VB6, but .net is Ok.
