Default Problems encountered using the DCOUNT function to analyse large databases

I moved both the criteria range and the formula to another workbook and
adjusted the items to refer to the proper source data base in the original
workbook and it worked for me.

Hi Tom,

The only thing I can think of is that my formula refers to a sheet in
another workbook?
Is the use of your DCOUNT function inside one workbook?

I will go away and scrutinise my criteria region, but I am sure it is
correct.

Many Thanks
