Excel 2000 Copy worksheet w/ ChartObjects memory leak
I am using Excel 2000 and run into a problem when copying worksheets
that contain ChartObjects (aka embedded charts). I can copy the worksheet to another workbook no problem, but the program does not release all of the memory after the operation is complete, even if you close the destination workbook. I experience the same behavior in Excel 2003. If you have thoughts on how to get around this odd behavior without using VBA to create the charts in the destination workbook, please share them. |
