Run macro after save
Hello all, Hopefully this is a simple question. I need to execute a subroutine AFTER the user saves the file (either save OR save as, doesn't matter which). I have come across both the WorkbookBeforeSave application event and Workbook_BeforeSave workbook event, but again, I need this sub run after the save. Any thoughts as to how do this? Thanks for your time. -- jeer ------------------------------------------------------------------------ jeer's Profile: http://www.excelforum.com/member.php...o&userid=30378 View this thread: http://www.excelforum.com/showthread...hreadid=502711 |

Run macro after save
Hi jeer
The way I get round this is to disable the menu bars ; in this case the menu bar for file save etc. I usually disable menus as a work book open event You can then put the file saving or saveas functions under software control as a subrouine, say triggered by a command button and then ofcourse subsequent to the save action run the post save code. There will be other ways, thjis works for me Best n10 "jeer" wrote in message ... Hello all, Hopefully this is a simple question.
