Shared Workbook Saving Problem
I have an application where one shared workbook opens other shared workbooks.
The users have begun to have a problem with it. Sometimes (not always) when one user clicks an "Update" button (which among other things calls for the first workbook to be saved), Excel tries repeated saves in quick order but never completes the save. The only way to stop it is to either Ctrl+Alt+Delete to kill the session or Ctrl+Break to halt the program. While this is going on, the other users are locked out of the application. Does anyone have a clue as to what is causing this and how to correct the problem? Thank you for your time and assistance. Don -- Don |
