Default Refedit gets mad with touchpad

Hi There,

I'm reporting a bug that I noticed with the Refedit control, hoping that
someone from Microsoft will see that and will solve it for Office 2006, if it
hasn't been solved yet.

I have a form with a Refedit, an OK button and a few other controls. It
works perfectly as long as you use the mouse to click on the OK button.

If you use the left button of a touchpad on a laptop (we tried it on several
laptops of different makers), and if you repeat the load/OK of the form
several times, suddenly, the code in the OK_Click fails (formatting a cell
for example) and the Excel sheet gets frozen. You need to use several times
F5 or other tricks to have the sheet unfrozen.

It seems to be something related to a focus problem.

Has anyone noticed that before?

I can provide you with an example if you want.

Regards,

Mr T
