Default extracting data


I am trying to work out how to extract a number (variable length) from
list of cells and move the number to a new cell (cut it) hope below mak
some sense -


from -
no type
25 people online
1 purchased
120 total on line today
1233 total on line year

to -

no------type

25------people online
1-------purchased
120-----total on line today
1233----total on line year

'----' for display purposes only - padding

any help, would be gratefully received

=LEFT(A1,SEARCH(" ",A1)-1) =MID(A1,SEARCH(" ",A1)+1,255)
