easy solution, just cant remember how to
I have a list of 30 different vehicle stock numbers, these are known a special units. when I enter a stock number of a sold unit I would lik another column to search the list of 30 stock numbers to see if it ha a match and if it does display a 1 or a yes, or something. If there i no match then display a blank. I just cant for the life of me figur out how to get it to search the field. something like if a5=b6:b36 the yes, otherwise no. thanks for the help, sorry if it wasnt challenging -- foamcow ----------------------------------------------------------------------- foamcows's Profile: http://www.excelforum.com/member.php...fo&userid=1853 View this thread: http://www.excelforum.com/showthread.php?threadid=49758 |
